About Alexander Korth

Alexander Korth (@alexkorth) is finalizing his PhD-thesis and works at Technische Universität Berlin / DAI-Labor as the Director of Competence Center Information Retrieval and Machine Learning.

Besides, he is a freelancing consultant for Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and the Social Web, and studies the behaviour of people on his side-project cityfinger, a privacy-preserving platform for location-based social micro-communities. He co-operated the second Berlin Barcamp in 2007 and hosts numerous Social Web-related meetups since 2006.
