What began as an interest in computing while pursuing a degree in
English has turned into 15 years of experience in the software
development industry. John has programmed in as many architectures as
languages with an emphasis on client productivity applications.
He has worked for large companies like Adobe Systems, and small startups focusing on document management, information visualization, corporate portals and one huge .com flameout. If there's data flowing, John is usually interested.
For the last five years John has been creating project management solutions with his company TeamDirection. By bringing disruptive Web 2.0 technologies into this mature market, TeamDirection turns resources back into people.
John still scratches the English itch now and then with his blog and as a guest writer at ReadWriteWeb.
