Personally I don't read feeds in my mobile phone, although I would like to. I do download content from the Web onto my Palm PDA, for offline reading. So it makes sense to go the next step and read content online on my mobile device. Anyway Barb's readers recommended the following apps and services for mobile RSS reading, if you're interested:

Still, if you want your news fast and don't mind paying an annual subscription for that fast service, it's a winner because of the way it quickly caches the newsfeeds on your phone. The magic makes the network charges nominal. I pay my network around $80 a month to read 65 frequently updated feeds while commuting. That's a big data addiction but it fits well in the context of otherwise wasted traveling time.
