I've made some changes to my new design. Less shocking red and also a new logo (see below). A huge thanks to Ariel from mEgo, who made the logo for me and created the new color scheme. Thanks Ariel!

I like the logo, and the current look of RWW. But there are those Warning messages in the zdnet portion of the sidebar...

Big improvement, but I'm not sold on the green in the dead area. It's a bit too saturated to ignore and really clashes with the boldness of the red. Other than that, very nice. I'll be hopping over from the feed reader more often now.

I like the new logo. Is this a ying yang hint? There is something bad even in Web 2.0, and there was something good in Web 1.0, even during the dot com bubble?

Otis, yes it's yin-yang inspired. I've been wanting to do a yin-yang type logo for ages. But it's not a 1.0 / 2.0 thing :-) More like read/write and the balancing out and harmony that brings to the Web. My stock philosophy, pre Web 2.0 :-)

nice professional logo. now the site looks like a medical site, with all the little gradients and a logo that combines the look of a pill and the R/X mark.

I like the logo, but the bevel&emboss effect from the Photoshop is a bit dated ;)

I used it back in 1998 on every site I made to make it look "cool", but I believe it stopped being "cool" before 1999 ;)

Other than that, great work and a pure pleasure to read :)

Marcin, I like to think of the bevel&emboss as a classic that nenver goes out of style ;-)

Ray, do you mean make the RSS icons red? Orange is the traditional RSS color, so I'll leave them as is. But you do have a point that the orange and red doesn't necessarily go together. hmmm.

I'm also really liking the talkr - allows me to cook and listen to your blog at the same time - no more burned pasta, which is always nice.
