It is very interesting that the logos that I have seen before stick out at me, and even though it might take me up to 10 seconds to remember the name of a logo that ha Flashed by it sticks in my mind.

This has a BIG impact for advertising (and as was noted on an advertising blog I can't find anymore) that click throughs don't necasseraly mean more business, but people remember what they've seen and are more responsive to it.
