Today's winning comment goes to Kamyar, from our post The Beast of Redmond is Roaring (& Thinking) Again. Kamyar's comment was a super-geeky reference to the classic sci-fi novel and movie, Dune. I'm not sure I can picture Sting as Ray Ozzie, but still it was a nicely gratuitous sci-fi reference. We're fans of that at RWW.

Is it just me or do others find that this blog was much better before the comment of the day?

It would be great if you could create two RSS feeds. The normal one which does not include the comment of the day and a second new feed which is just the COD.

Anon, thanks for your frank feedback. The reason for Comment of the Day is to highlight the best of what the RWW community has to say (the read/write web and all that). Admittedly the last 2 nights I have posted whimsical style COD posts, so it looks like the humor isn't to everyones taste. Fair enough. I will try to make tonight's one more serious :-)
