If you are strictly asking about "online" meaning,content I watch from my computer, I would have to also be leaning toward HULU, although I think the major networks do a quality job of delivering recent content (but with little flexibility on shows and availability on different devices).
If "online" means receiving your content via the internet as a distribution platform for other devices, I would have to say i lean toward itunes. I don't mind paying for forgeting to TIVO or DVR shows knowing that I can download it and watch it at my leisure on my video ipod, iphone or Apple TV (apple tv being the best being that i can watch it in the family room on the TV.
