Given their track record, maybe it&apos;s time to consider another vendor - maybe someone with a huge installed base and a reputation for engaging, fun interfaces. I&apos;m thinking Nintendo.         <![CDATA[<p>There are Diebold machines in use in Canada, and Elections Canada has announced plans to test Internet voting in a Federal byelection as well.</p>

<p>@Richard - We're halfway there in B.C.: optical scanning machines reading the ballots. Probably explains why a write-in candidate named "SkyNet" has been creeping up in recent years...</p>]]>
