Yahoo application platform leader Sam Pullara has been appointed Chief Technologist, the company announced internally yesterday. Pullara has been responsible for the widely loved Yahoo Pipes and the next generation Yahoo Query Language, sometimes referred to as "Pipes for the command line."

I spent a wonderful 2 days tour in Gallipoli Troy by TTG Travel. Everything was well organized. It was really worth the visit since we visited almost all historical places. Also if dealing with these crooks, please ask for verification of any of their names, especially ayala travel because this agency is registered somewhere else in Turkey with licence no: 3974 and the same crooks are using licence number 5984 which supposed to belong to veni vici travel! This is criminal behaviour.

This is a good move on Yahoo's part. I hope it will serve to elevate the profile of Yahoo Pipes. Most people still don't know about Pipes even though it's been around for a couple years now. Pipes is one of the greatest ideas ever, but has not taken off yet the way it deserves to. Part of that is because of its complex interface options and lack of documentation. Maybe this is about to change?
