  1. www.thumbstacks.com might help complete your Web Office Suite...

  2. I see your trying out the hreview microformat.

    How do you like it?

  3. Joel Spolsky said "For all the Ajax calendars that are appearing, it's a shame I can't find one which really meets my needs" - should I wait for Google Calendar or 30boxes deserves to give it a try?

  4. Hi Murray,

Yes I'm liking what I've seen so far from hReview, c/o StructuredBlogging.org. I'm using the MT plugin, very nice...

  5. Hey Sam,

Well after a few days using 30 Boxes, I'm certainly encouraged by its functionality. Time will tell, but I'd say it's definitely worth you trying out. Don't wait for Google!

  6. Richard, my TypeKey is not working here - "The requested URL /cgi-bin/mt/mt-comments.cgi was not found on this server."

  7. I dont see what the big deal with 30 Boxes is, have you seen Spongecell? its interface is actually a little better I think. I think people just like 30 Boxes because one of the developers is a blogger.
    I wrote about it here

  8. Um, I am not a blogger, I am a software engineer and an entrepreneur. I do have a blog.

Here is the 30B position on Joel. We didn't build this software for Joel or others like him.

The three of us behind 30B have been at the web for a long time and we were trying to make something readily accessible for the non-tech.

While certain "bloggers" did like the initial product, there have been plenty of other everyday folks who like it too:

Richard, thank you for taking the time to try out and write about 30B. We are fast working on SMS reminders and SMS invitations! There will be lots of great stuff in the next couple of months and we hope to see other applications making use of our APIs so that you don't have to personalize every new site you join. They will just pull it from 30boxes.

  9. I like 30Boxes aswell - from an usability perspective. But as far as my funtionality needs are concerned, I don't see an Outlook replacement out there.

Is is really that complicated to create an

    integrated calender + e-mail

    application?

That would be the real killer application...
