According to rankings compiled by the San Jose Mercury News, total market capitalisation of Silicon Valley's 150 biggest public companies plunged 32 per cent to about $850 billion for the past 12 months ending March 31, the worst decline since 2002.
The newspaper's annual Silicon Valley 150 list ranks public companies headquartered in the region on the basis of their worldwide revenues for the most recent available four quarters.

That's the case with me and my friends. We actually talk/chat more on Twitter than on windows messenger and when we meet face to face. I think its because Twitter is a micro-blogging service hence we tend to broadcast every thought we have or everything that has happened to us or people around us on Twitter. In a way, that creates more topics for us to talk/discuss about as opposed to in real life where you can't just tell people everything that is on your mind or every single thing that is happening to you because that would give others the impression that you're a self-absorbed person.
