Day 12

Written by Richard MacManus / November 13, 2003 12:28 AM / 1 Comments

22,009 words - hanging in there (see ch. 31 onwards). Decided to introduce a sub-plot, to liven things up. It's about a Silicon Valley graphics designer named Dave Darwin, who has just started a social software company. The themes of avatars and social software which I'm introducing here will eventually merge with Declan Atomz's world of ETs and two-way communication.

  • Great resourceful move, Richard. Remember this is supposed to be quick and dirty writing - editing is the next phase. Of course, the smarter you are the better, but the 30 day limit is supposed to shut up your inner critic so that you can just write. I've been reading up on nanowrimo and that's what the founder says, anyway. You go! I really liked the chapter where we got to be in the alien's world. That was fun!
