Update: Unfortunately we have had to re-set the poll, 12 hours after it went live, due to some suspicious voting behavior. We have now blocking repeat voters by Cookie and IP address (previously it was only cookie). We apologize for the inconvenience, but please cast your vote again.
With the release of Netvibes' latest version, now is a good time to poll R/WW readers on which personalized homepage, if any, you use. Let us know in the poll and comments below:

I use http://www.nowsy.com. Simple, but with a handy searchfunction. It was profiled by Techcrunch some time ago.
I use http://www.origo.pt, simple and it's on my language.
Google Personalized Homepage is my choice, they offer the simplicity and features I need. Frankly to say once I am used to them can hardly move to other platform.
I use goowy mail, they rock!
I tried Google and Pageflakes but gave up on both because they were slow to load (and reload) and too frequently gave me bizarre errors. I love the idea, but I just got so annoyed with the execution. Is there some limit on how many elements and pages they can handle well? I found anything over 2 pages and ~6 elements per page was asking for trouble. Or should I blame NZ Telecom for useless ISP service instead?
Pageflakes is my default browser start page. Has been since May 2006. They innovate much faster than Google or Yahoo so I am quite happy with them.

Google Apps Start page variation of Google Personalized Homepage for me. The ability to customize it even more than regular Google Homepage is nice.
I use a highly personalized homepage of my own creation that resides on my hard drive for very fast access and gives me immediate access to over a hundred of my favorite web destinations. It is more readable and better organized to suit my own needs than any of the "personalized homepages" I have seen elsewhere on the web. I will be truly surprised if anyone comes along and writes something that I like better.
pageflakes is moving more quickly to capture the most interesting components of personalized home pages. I have switched from netvibes.
For financial home page, i use http://www.sanebull.com
When I open goowy mail and its minis its contents blossom like a flowers Unlike the clustered and congested looks like on many other sites
I use a combination of Google Personalized Homepage and Netvibes.
Since I tend to read far too many news sites, blogs etc. I decided to use Google as startpage with all the basic information I need - mail, bookmarks, search, notes. Netvibes on the other hand is my rss-reader that covers my need for the daily dose of information. I use it only twice a day to save time and so far my experiment works great.
sorry folks, poll has been re-set. We noticed some suspicious voting patterns earlier today and so decided better to start afresh. Really sorry for the inconvenience. More info in post update.
You should post this poll on www.MegaBuzz.com and then embed on your site....it could bring more usage to the poll.
To Catherine: I think it is your provider and not Pageflakes (though I can't speak for Google). Have not had any problems with load times, bizarre erros.
Haven't tried pageflakes, but tried everything else, and I keep coming back to Google Personalized Homepage. Netvibes, Yourmini's etc are just too busy for me, and with the Netvibes universal widget, things just got more interesting.
OTHER: I have an HTML page on my own PC that has all the links grouped by category. On the right hand side is the weather forecast, current conditions, and radar snapshop. I've been using this for three or four years.
A 'link page' is far more useful to me than trying to cram website content (except for weather) on my startup page.
Recently switched from Netvibes for their seriously buggy product. Now evaluating Pageflakes. Looks like I will stay. They got some really useful and complete modules for real longterm users.
But Google IG is fast! It's at least 10X faster then anyone else.
I have been using Pageflakes for a while now and I'm impressed by how fast it is.
just started using goowy after getting tired of Google taking over half the web and logging me in without my permission. actually very impressed with goowy -- making a great start! lots and lots of functionality, customizable, and good focus on features that count (file uploading, calendar, basic "minis" (in Googlespeak, widgets).
I switched from Google to Protopage ( http://www.protopage.com/ ) after Google changed something and some of my modules stopped working. Protopage is very easy on the eye, works flawlessly and doesn't force you to arrange things according to a nasty grid (they can overlap). Very happy with it. One of the best things is you can add a module that is a window to any web page - so you can put virtually anything on it.
Speed and simplicity have become Pageflakes an excellent instrument of assist to my negocios.
I wonder if the results would differ much if we could vote multiple times. I use both MyYahoo and NetVibes at this point. I'm actually conducting a bit of unscientific research on ymy blog and am using each of a group of personalized home-pages and RSS readers for one week to see what I like.
I'm still new to what's out there on personalized home pages (having lived with the Google page that shows up on Firefox for over a year now)... For the last few months, I've been using Pageflakes which has allowed me to get everything I need and more. My colleagues at work are now using it too and we've set up customized pages for our clients to use, since we can send them a personalized url. I also like the speed of how the page loads. It's pretty cool.
I use pageflakes. Its really great :)
Best homepage on the entire Internet:
about:blank
When I checked yesterday, Netvibes had almost 300 votes. After the reset they are down to 70 votes. Makes me wonder who caused the reset... lame.
Simone
I agree Simone, it was very disappointing from our pov too. I plan to promote the poll again very soon, to drive more participants to it and hopefully get those early (valid) votes back.
I personally don't use them. I guess they don't appeal to me. But, if I did, I would use Your Mini's or Schmedely.
I love pageflakes. Its my homepage. Just love them so much, they are very professional and dynamic.
I use Excite MIX (http://mix.excite.co.uk), which has a nice UK focus and (quite uniquely I think) an entertaining blog (Amanda's Webtwitcher)!
I like Netvibes and used it for a long time, but it seens it's difficult to beat a multimilion company. I'm using Google IG now, because they have the best integration with Google Calendar, Google Notebook, Google Groups and Google Reader (my prefered RSS reader). The widgets for those great web-apps are fully interactive. Aside from that, Google IG has a good integration with cell phones (Netvibes is now implementing that too).
I'm a very happy Protopage user. The only down side to Protopages is that there is no way to export RSS feeds or bookmarks and import them elsewhere, or at least, to keep a backup stored somewhere.
Protopage. Functions very well, simple to use and easy to organize/customize. Doesn't work with Safari, but by far my favorite of the bunch. One thing I thought was smart: since your username is attached to your url, you don't need to re-enter it as a login - just the password. One less thing to do is always nice. http://protopage.com/
I use netvibes and the latest coriander release is awesome. I have rww(readwriteweb) feed in it and so other hundreds in different tags.
this is the place i m not belong 2 .. this is the place ur not belongs 2 ... this is the placeh we r ar not belongs 2 ... coz of life is no parking
