How about YippieMove (http://www.yippiemove.com)? Perhaps not the most revolutionary service, but it sure is a very useful one.
Why isn't the list in alphabetical order? SRSLY
my votes for @rww top web products of 2009
Many of these sites and products launched prior to this year... there's a difference between adding a new product and optimizing/perfecting/improving an older one. Seems unfair to the newbies to be compared against sites that have had several years to evolve, e.g. 5-year-old Facebook and 2-year-old Mint...
Very good stuff @rww
I kept scrolling down looking for one product, but couldn't find it... DROPBOX! Srsly, I couldn't work for a day without it. I use it on 3 computers and don't even realize I'm using it. Hoping this is just an oversight ;)
This list is missing a whole bunch such as Pandora, HubPages, and NetVibes.
Looking through the list it would seem there is a big one for me thats missing, dropbox?! I pretty much rely on their service more than any other. Hope its an oversight?
for the people who own websites... try Woopra... the number one live web analytics program in the world.
Consider this another write-in vote for Dropbox.
Social Text is leading edge enablement technology for Web 2.0
I'm glad you got all mine. I'll look up a few you mentioned, with which I'm not familiar.
Dropbox would have to be right up there, with the ability to access files through the web, and its version control.
Xero online accounting service is also top-notch and deserves a place.

I would add YourVersion, a new real-time discovery engine. YourVersion makes it easy to keep up on the latest blogs, news, webpages, Tweets, etc, related to your specific interests. YourVersion was included in ReadWriteWeb's Top 100 Real-Time Web Companies, and won the People's Choice Award at TechCrunch50 where they launched.
I’ve been getting a lot of feedly service is temporarily unavailable! pages lately. Is it just me? Anyways according to me wordpress is the best web product of 2009...
It should only be for new products that were released in 2009. Otherwise it's pretty lame.
Oh dear, my favourite isn't on the list - Lazyfeed, for topic discovery
Dropbox!
Yep, voting for Dropbox.
Definitely am gonna vote for all of them.......even i came to know about some of the products with which i was not familiar before.
Thanks,
Bryan.
Please add pearltrees...
Just wanted to suggest that you supply a quick inform link to your list of 100 best products for 2009. Is there anyone who has heard of most of these, let alone all, of these products?
It would be great to know more about each one without having to resort to a Google search, (one more step), right from your site.
I would like to suggest
pearltrees, for their innovative mapping of the personal web, (or should I say personal graphic blogroll?) Have I got your attention? Check it out.
Even though there is still more smoke than fire, because it is still beta, how about Google Wave. I don't think the content would be diluted from your list to include beta software. Google Wave is by far the most innovative and potentially the most significant product of 2009, second only to Chrome, in terms of far reaching implications.
Good Luck to all in your
web site promotion for 2010!
jimdo es completo, facil e interesante
If it's here, I don't see it, but my favorite app launched in 2009 is www.secondporch.com
It's a new Facebook application for owners of vacation rental properties and users of vacation rental properties.
Second Porch is a great enhancement to or alternative to traditional vacation rental listings and offers both owner and rental guest a comfortable and transparent space to communicate.
Thank you muchly for including us. Kind of humbling to be listed among such heavy-hitting company. :)
Definitely have to echo the votes for Dropbox, though. Big fan over here.
We use Woopra - the best live statistics. If you want to know what's going on online, try it.
Thanks for the poll, very interesting.
An alphabetic list would be great. Too late for me though.
Twitter, feedly, and Aardvark got mine.
Richard
I stand by my choices but needed another 10 to round out the list. And where is Dropbox by the way?
Practicehacker
Friendfeed. Didn't see it listed, it's #1 on my list.
Dropbox.
TLDR :O
Another vote for Dropbox.
What about Alltop? They came out with a new version this year, and launched at the same time as Regator.
I also vote for Friendfeed.
Github.
The best ARE MISSING....DROPBOX and LALA
Agree with many of the top tools listed thus far.
I'd add Jama Contour to the write-in candidate list for enterprise apps, for making product development more collaborative.
http://www.jamasoftware.com/contour
LaLa(http://www.lala.com)should have definitively been included here; it's the most remarkable/ comprehensive music resources on the web these days.
Surpised not to see Blogger and Delicious in there ?
Another vote for DropBox here! :)
Dropbox Too!!!
I'm also for DropBox!
Where's Brizzly? :)
Definitely Jimdo!
I bet it will be Twitter! http://bit.ly/6D3Q01
Me too think DropBox deserves a place up there.
In addition, I will mention Laguna Survey (http://www.sonorait.com/), a state of the art web survey tool
Hi there ! what about #pearltrees ? they really deserve to be in this list !
Write-in. Dropbox and Delicious should not only be on the list, but are among my top 5.
+1 vote for dropbox. More useful than all apps I clicked above.

I agree with Claire on comment 4. It is unfair to newbies. Particularly I am not affiliated with any of their companies but including Facebook with say, Glue, seems odd and does not help obtaining reasonable stats as to year 2009. Unless of course you mean all time people's choice. But then again lists will always be attractive by the end of the year, just like Billboard's :)
Interesting poll, but I think some cathegorization would have allowed us to be more "effective"
And also, some of the candidates are really "young" and I'm not sure if it's fair to compare them with Google, Facebook and other "old mates"
