We've started a new links blog here at Read/WriteWeb, called Web Tech News. As the name suggests, this mini-blog will cover Web Technology news on a daily basis.
We're focusing specifically on Web news, because that is our niche here at R/WW. We think this will be a handy way for you to keep up-to-date with all the latest Web Tech news, as filtered by the Read/WriteWeb authors. We've got permalink pages for each story, because you may want to comment on them - and also we may integrate this into the main blog some more in the near future.
Here is the RSS feed for Web Tech News.

Hi,
How can I setup a links blog for my website? What tools do I need?
Thanks

Looks like this is similar to web2list.com news aggregation service exclusively web 2.0 news.

mmmmmm, where did you get that name from http://webtechnewsapp.com perhaps :p
It seems like the originalsignals.com frontpage.
I think you should put it higher on the sidebar so people notice it or have its own box on the front page perhaps.

The name is fairly generic, so I didn't get it from anywhere in particular. I didn't know about that FB app, so will check it out (FB seems to be down now tho).
In re-design that is coming soon it'll be more prominent.
Zmr, any blogging tool will enable you to create a links blog - or try del.icio.us.

well Richard I am sure when Fb is up and you get to access it you will like it as your rss feed is consumed on it :P
I look forward to the redesign as I think due to the number of writers you have now some quality content is being missed using the blog layout. I think a lot of the web tech blogs are suffering the same problem. Blogs are great for 1 or 2 voices.
