Sazneo is a relatively new group chat app that enables businesses to break conversations down into different channels, which can include team members as well as people from outside the organization. Within each chat channel, there's a repository for file uploads so team members can easily exchange documents, graphics and other files.

smb-marketing-chart.pngThe majority of small and medium-sized businesses will either increase their digital marketing budgets or keep them the same in 2011, according to a new survey released by Zoomerang in partnership with GrowBizMedia.

The survey results came from a sample of over 750 SMBs, the vast majority of which have 1-25 employees. More than half (55%) of respondents reported having a marketing budget of $1,000 or less.

We heard quite a bit of news coming out of the PayPal X Innovate 2010 Developers Conference, which had a heavy focus on the future of mobile payments. PayPal X is a new initiative that opens up PayPal's platform to developers, enabling them to build new tools and applications on top of it.

doodle-calendar.pngDespite the availability of efficient online scheduling tools, professionals burn up nearly five hours per week scheduling meetings, according to a study commissioned by Doodle, a company that makes one of those Web-based tools.

By the time the year ends, many have spent the cumulative equivalent of six weeks scheduling meetings, and that doesn't include time spent attending them.

google-logo150.png Aside from the occasional privacy gaffe or questionable quote from CEO Eric Schmidt, Google tends to have a fairly positive image, or at least has the trust of millions of individuals and business around the world who use its services everyday.

That's why we were surprised to learn that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) had given Google a grade of C-, according to Mike Blumenthal, a blogger who specializes in local search.
