Node.js Creator Ryan Dahl's Keynote from NodeConf

We covered Node.js creator Ryan Dahl's keynote this year at NodeConf, and he's since posted the text of the talk. But if you prefer video, you can now watch it on Blip.tv.

Since Dahl's talk, Node.js sponsor Joyent and Microsoft have partnered to bring Node.js to Windows, and the first version with Windows support has been released.

I'm at the very first NodeConf today. It's an impressive turnout for a first time event for a new project that hasn't even hit a 1.0 release yet.

Ryan Dahl, the creator of Node.js, is the keynote speaker. Here's what he has to say about where the project is going, including why and how Node.js is coming to Windows.

NodeConf Schedule Announced

NodeConf, a Node.js conference scheduled for May 4 in Portland, OR, has announced its schedule. Speakers include Node.js creator Ryan Dahl, JavaScript guru Tim Caswell and our own resident hacker Tyler Gillies.

The event will ticket place at PureSpace, and tickets cost $145. The first batch of tickets sold out, but you can still add yourself to the waiting list for the next round.
