Christopher Mills Takes a Chance and It Pays Off

Written by Doug Coleman / October 28, 2008 8:13 PM / 10 Comments

TheForge_logo.jpgPutting some of the rumors that he had been fired to rest, Cape Town, South Africa web guy Christopher Mills announced in his blog; "As some of you know, I recently resigned from FormFunction. It was a tough decision to make, and I was sad to leave the company behind".

Sometimes a person has to leave a good company and take their chances. In this case, the choice was a good one. Mills will take on new challenges at The Forge Web Creations.

At The Forge Web Creations, Christopher Mills will assume the role of Operations Manager. Christopher's duties will focus on digital strategies, social media, community management and search engine optimization.

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, The Forge Web Creations says they are "...equipped to handle geographically remote work under the experienced leadership of The Forge owner, Sue Rutherford".

Job seekers, listen up. Christopher first heard about this opportunity while networking at his local WordCamp!

  7. spoke to a guy in my church this afternoon about constructing a site for his insurance brokerage. lots of automation and customisation. dunno why, but i thought about you and what i read about you after i spoke to him about the site. was gonna pitch a collab to you on this project. thought u were a freelancer.
threw him a figure of 12K - 15K thinking that would be good for freelance work..
doubt a company will do work for that type of money.

will have to find me another freelancer.

  8. Arthurficial, please would you drop me a line, my contract states that I am entitled to freelance as long as it does not have a negative effect upon my daily duties..
