comScore_logo.jpgcomScore, an global internet information provider that "measures the digital world", has appointed Pat Pellegrini to be its Vice President of Research for International Operations.

Mr. Pellegrini will be very busy, simultaneously serving as comScore's Canadian research advisory council Chair. Does this signal a greater emphasis on international anaylitics, and what does this mean?

In part of their mission statement comScore says they "...leverage the power of the Internet to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients' sales and marketing efforts". Pellegrini's hiring will certainly help in these efforts. He brings more than 20 years of experience in research and audience measurement to ComScore. Pellegrini was formerly VP of both TNS Media Research and BBM Canada.

Magid Abraham, President and CEO of comScore says, "Pat is one of the most well regarded researchers in the audience measurement industry, and we are excited about his addition to the comScore team".
