Critter Gewlas, a well known engineer specializing in cutting edge software who fell victim to recent layoffs by video startup Seesmic, has taken a job with Enterprise Scale Rich Internet Applications (ESRIA).
Gewlas was written up by the LA Times after a video he posted on Seesmic about losing his job, a Skype interview with Seesmic founder Loic LeMeur and (perhaps most signifigant) a tattoo on his leg of the Seesmic racoon mascot, all contributed to his getting a job as a developer at the web startup. Gewlas was subsequently laid off during Seesmic's high-profile Reduction of Force this month. Fortunately, he has a number of tatooes, including one of the icon of Adobe's Rich Internet Application (RIA) software, AIR. This week Gewlas announced on Twitter that he's taken a job with upstart RIA company Enterprise Scale Rich Internet Applications.
Right: Still another of Critter's tattoos.
