bliplogo125.jpgJeffrey Glass of Bain Capital Partners has joined the Board of Directors at Blip.tv after Bain invested in the video startup.

Bain capital invested an undisclosed amount of cash in Blip, it was announced last week. Board changes were not announced but Glass updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect his joining the team. He's also on the boards of streaming audio ad provider TargetSpot, BzzAgent, and the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX). He's a board observer at LinkedIn and has experience in the mobile content world.

Blip reports strong growth, has some great video viewing technology and does some white label video publishing deals, most famously with CNN's iReport citizen journalism site. Blip is looking to hire more staff, recently posting an open position as content relations associate to their company blog.
