Rahman comes from YCombinator startup Youlicit, a human-powered search directory. Prior to Youlicit, Rahman worked in financial services.

NewsCred is an attractive looking service that filters news by the credibility of various sources. That credibility is determined by, essentially, a vote. We'd like to know more about the company's plans for ensuring the...credibility of its credibility ratings. We wrote about the service when it launched in August. Rahman will be responsible for all the company's technology, including its forthcoming API.
