Digital pen maker Adapx, a company that worked on its technology for 8 years before launching last December with a flurry of venture capital investment news, has hired veteran inside sales pro Earl Robinson to manage its inside sales strategy. According to his LinkedIn profile, Robinson's been doing inside sales at a number of large firms since the mid-90's.
Adapx sells pens that digitize and record whatever you write on its special digital paper. The product is marketed to construction, military and utility customers who like to use pen and paper in the field but want a digital record of their work.
This Fall the company unveiled a new product at the DEMO conference, called Capturx Forms for Excel . That product turns paper forms into Excel spreadsheets.
