The ccLearn division of the CreativeCommons Foundation has hired Lila Bailey of Silicon Valley uber-law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as the organization's first Legal Counsel. Bailey is a 2005 graduate of the Berkeley School of Law and has also worked with the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
ccLearn says it is "a division of Creative Commons dedicated to realizing the full potential of the internet to support open learning and open educational resources. Our mission is to minimize legal, technical, and social barriers to sharing and reuse of educational materials."
