Hallelujah! Mozilla Hires Technology Evangelist

Written by Doug Coleman / November 1, 2008 5:44 PM / 2 Comments

Mozilla_logo.jpgSelf proclaimed Mozilla addict Paul Rouget has been hired by Mozilla to be a full-time evangelist.

Paul Rouget is French and lives in Paris. His story is a good one; "Five years ago, during my first internship, my boss asked me to find a way to build a kiosk browser. It was my first experience with Firefox and XUL. It was the beginning of a love story between Mozilla technologies and me ."

Paul-Roget.jpg Long story short, Paul continued his devotion to Mozilla. Over the next five years, he organized events and helped companies and schools. Paul talked about XUL and other web technologies with everyone he could. Little did he know he was becoming a technology evangelist. Mozilla was paying attention and hired him to spread their gospel full-time.

Before this new job, Paul Rouget was a Mozilla Developer at Aliasource and a freelance Developer.

  1. I believe it's Paul Rouget NOT Roget?

  2. Thanks Pageman, got that fixed. Please keep those eagle eyes peeled for any other mistakes you find - they happen and we appreciate the help catching them!
