In the blog, D: All Things Digital, Kara Swisher reports that former Vice President of Search Technology at Yahoo Sean Suchter has left to join Microsoft. Microsoft has not announced Suchter's arrival, but there is some speculation that "...he will be working in search for Satya Nadella, the Senior VP who heads engineering for Microsoft's search, portal and advertising platform group".
The announcement had been pending and was not related to Yahoo CEO Jerry Wang's announced retirement this week.
