Last week, e-commerce fulfillment company Webgistix announced the appointment of Thomas Barton to their Board of Directors. As online sales in the United States continue to grow, e-commerce sales fulfillment is often outsourced. Webgistix hopes to capitalize on this growing trend.
Thomas Barton most recently was President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at Rackable Systems. Before that, he was a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Barton began his career at McKinsey Consulting.
