Business networking service Xing announced today, that founder and CEO Lars Hinrichs has resigned and Stefan Gross-Selbeck will replace him as the company's CEO. Gross-Selbeck will assume his new Chief Executive Officer duties January 15, 2009.
Stefan Gross-Selbeck was General Manager of eBay Germany. As CEO at Xing, he will will be "responsible for further expansion of the Xing network and the continuous improvement of the range of services offered to its members".
Xing is is a social software platform that enables a "small-world" network for professionals. It's headquarters is in Hamburg, Germany, with offices in Barcelona, Istanbul and Beijing.
