Peer-to-peer news and information network Current Media announced last week they have promoted Joanna Drake Earl to Chief Operating Officer. She had been President of New Media for the San Francisco based company and the first executive to join co-founders Al Gore and Joel Hyatt.
Prior to joining Current, Earl was Vice President, Content Strategy for MOXI (now Digeo). Before that, she was Vice President of Media Partnerships and Applications at ReacTV.
