Earlier today TechCrunch reported that Brian O'Shaughnessy, Director of Global Corporate Communications at Google, is leaving to become head of communications for Skype. His last day at Google is this week and he will be moving to Luxembourg to join Skype.
At Google, O'Shaughnessy oversaw communications for YouTube, Google Chrome, OpenSocial, Google Earth and Android.
Just last week we reported on two other executive hires at Skype.
