Today The Wall Street Journal reported today that key Google executive Dipchand "Deep" Nishar has left the company to be a senior executive at LinkedIn. Nishar will be Vice President of Products for the business-oriented social networking site.
Nishar was Director of Wireless Products at Google, where he developed and implemented the product strategy for Google's mobile products worldwide. Before joining Google he was a team member at Siebel Systems.
Earlier this year Sheryl Sandberg, who was Vice President for Global Online Sales and Operations for Google, left to become CEO at Facebook and Douglas Merrill, former Google CIO left for EMI Music.
