Provider of globalization and testing services Lionbridge announced yesterday they have hired Yvonne Cekel as Vice President of SaaS and Communities. With this move, the company hopes to accelerate their open, SaaS-based language technology platform for clients and translators.
Cekel was Senior Vice Prestdent of Marketing & Business Development at ClearPoint Metrics prior to joining Lionbridge. According to Lionbridge CEO Rory Cowan, Cekel has "an impressive track record of developing and marketing SaaS based solutions".
Waltham, Massachusetts based Lionbridge offers a variety of translation and localization services. They were founded in 1996 and had revenue of $452 million in 2007.
