Personal digital assistant and smartphone manufacturer Palm, Inc. announced yesterday it has hired a new CEO. Former Chief Accounting Officer at eBay Douglas C. Jeffries will assume the role beginning January 7th. Jeffries will certainly have his hands full. Next month Palm is set to roll out a new line of products that will run on its new operating system, Nova.
Jeffries also held leadership roles at GenCorp, Red Herring Communications and Cardinal Health prior to joining Palm.
