Social publishing company Scribd announced today it has closed $9 million in Series B financing led by Charles River Ventures. In related news, the company announced that it has hired George Consagra to be its new President.
Consagra was COO at Bebo prior to joining Scribd. Before that he was Senior Vice President of Internet Marketing and Media at Organic.
