Online communication software company Skype announced on their blog today they have made two new executive hires. Daniel Berg will be the company's new Chief Technology Officer and Christopher S. Dean will be the new Chief Strategy Officer. They will both report directly to company President Josh Silverman.
Berg worked for Sun Microsystems for 15 years prior to joining Skype. Most recently he was CTO for their Global Sales and Services Division and Vice President of Systems Engineering for Sun's Emerging Markets Region.
Dean has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Most recently he was co-founder of Texada Capital. Dean is also an adviser to word of mouth marketing firm Zuberance and advertising search engine Leadtail.
