Virtualization software developer VMware announced it has appointed Maurizio Carli to General Manager of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Carli will report directly to VMware Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations Carl Eschenbach.
Carli was Managing Director for Google Enterprise, EMEA region prior to joining VMware. Before that he held executive positions at Business Objects and IBM.
