Air America Hires First DC-Based Correspondent

AirAmerica_logo.jpgOnline multimedia company Air America announced today it has hired Ana Marie Cox as its first Washington, D.C.-based national correspondent. She will "contribute text, video and audio content to airamerica.com, as well as to a weekly program to air on Air America's radio network". Her debut will be Monday, January 19, where she will cover the Presidential Inauguration from our nation's capitol.

Cox is the founding editor of the political blog, Wonkette. After leaving in 2006, she was named Washington Editor of Time.com. Prior to that she served on the editorial staffs of Suck.com, Mother Jones and Radar. Cox also published her first novel, Dog Days, in 2006. You can follow Ana Marie's updates on Twitter.
