Today ars technica announced that 21 year Microsoft veteran Bob Muglia has been promoted from Vice President to President of Microsoft's Server and Tools Business (STB). Microsoft's STB generates about 20 percent of the company's total revenue.
Muglia has served in a variety of positions with Microsoft since joining the Redmond, Washington software giant in 1988. Prior to that he was a Development Manager at ROLM Co.
