Online video platform Brightcove announced today that it has made two new appointments to its Executive Team and two new members will join its Board of Directors. Former Acquia and Adobe executive Jeff Whatcott will be Brightcove's new Senior Vice President of Marketing and former FAST Search & Transfer VP Mike Quinn will join the company as its new Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas. David Mendels and Deb Besemer will join the company's Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Brightcove, Whatcott was Vice President of Marketing at Acquia. Before that he was Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Adobe Systems. Quin was Senior VP of Sales for the Americas Region at Fast Search & Transfer before joining Brightcove. Mendels held two Senior Vice President positions at Adobe before joining Brightcove's Board of Directors. Besemer sits on the Board of Directors at Bullhorn and Double-Take Software and was formerly CEO at BrassRing.
