Louis Gray Takes on Advisory Role With SocialToo

SocialToo_logo.jpgSilicon Valley tech geek, blogger and early adopter Louis Gray announced on his blog that he has taken on an advisory role with social web company SocialToo and will sit on its Board of Advisors. After using SocialToo for several months, Gray became "very interested not just in what the product does today...but also in a few potential directions I saw as next steps for the product".

Gray is the author and publisher of louisgray.com, a "technology blog focused on early adopters, startups, innovation, social media and the Silicon Valley". He also serves as an advisor to ReadBurner.com and is Director of Corporate Marketing at BlueArc.

SocialToo provides tools that help automate processes on Twitter, identi.ca and Facebook.

  2. Thomas, since you asked, the public appearance may be promotional in nature, but that's very little of the process. In fact, since signing on as an advisor for ReadBurner, I've probably gotten quieter about the service.

    As an advisor, what I intend to do is come up with new product directions for SocialToo and ReadBurner, or others I get the opportunity to help, to act as a sounding board for strategy on product development, partnerships, networking, quality assurance, etc.

    This isn't about Marketing. It's about product development and acting as a partner. And Doug... thanks for the article.
