Obama Hires Silicon Valley Exec as Director of Citizen Participation

USPres_logo.jpgMedia and technology blogger Peter Kafka reported yesterday in AllThingdD that President Obama has hired former Google product manager Katie Jacobs Stanton as the country's new Director of Citizen Participation. It is not clear at press time what the job will entail.

Prior to joining Google in 2003, Jacobs Stanton was the Group Production Manager at Yahoo!. Before that she was an Associate at Chase.
