Ridgefield Park, NJ subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Samsung Electronics America announced that it has made three executive appointments. Chang-Soo Choi is the companys new President and Chief Executive Officer, Tim Baxter was promoted to President of Samsung's Consumer Electronics Division (CED) and Young Hoon Eom was promoted to Co-President of CED.
Choi served in a variety of leadership roles within Samsung Electronics spanning thirty years. It is not clear what Baxter and Eom's positions were at Samsung before their promotions.
