On her BoomTown blog today, Kara Swisher reports that General Manager and Executive Editor of News Neeraj Khemlani will leave Yahoo! to join Hearst Corporation in the new position of Vice President and Special Assistant to the CEO for Digital Media. Although the move comes right in the middle of a major media unit restructuring, Khemlani is reportedly "not leaving due to the upcoming changes at Yahoo", sources said.
Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2006, Khemlani was a Producer at CBS News magazine 60 Minutes for eight years.
