Los Gatos, California semiconductor manufacturer Hifn announced today that it has hired storage pioneer John Matze as its new Vice President and Chief Technical Officer.
Matze joined Hifn in 2007 as its Vice President of Business Development after the company acquired Siafu Software, where he served as CEO. Before that he was Vice President and CTO at Overland Storage. Matze is "the author of several storage patents is also credited as one of the original authors of the iSCSI protocol".
