Metasearch product developer InfoSpace announced today that it has named William J. Lansing as its new President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board. Retiring President and CEO Jim Voelker will remain with the company as Board Chairman through 2010.
Prior to joining InfoSpace, Lansing was President and CEO of Value Vision Media, Inc., where he launched internet video business Shop NBC.TV. Before that he was a Partner at General Atlantic Partners.
