Today the OpenID Foundation, the organization founded to promote, protect and enable OpenID technologies and community, announced that it has appointed Don Thibeau as its new Executive Director. In the short-term he will be charged with building a foundation for growth for OpenID.
Prior to accepting this executive position, Thibeau was Vice President of Business Development at TransUnion and a member of the Board of Advisors at Austin Logistics. In 1981 he was a Presidential appointee for the US Department of Labor and White House liaison for the US Synthetic Fuels Corporation.
