Search giant Google wasted no time replacing recently departed online ad executive Tim Armstrong, who defected to be the new CEO at Time Warner online unit AOL. Today it was reported that five year Google veteran Dennis Woodside will be the company's new Vice President of Americas Operations. In this new role, Armstrong will be responsible for leading Google's online advertising sales operation.
Prior to joining Google in 2003 as its Director of Business Operations, Woodside was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.
