UK commercial television company ITV.com wants to become more of a "social" site. Today the company announced that it has implemented more Kick Apps functionality and has promoted former "traditional PR chap" Ben Ayers to the newly-created position of Social Media and Online Engagement Manager. Ayers will be responsible for engaging ITV.com's online community.
