Today NYTimes.com reports that 78 year old Silicon Valley veteran Pierre Lamond will retire from Sequoia Capital this year and join Khosla Ventures, the venture firm founded by Vinod Khosla.
Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1981, Pierre was a Founder and the Technical Director of National Semiconductor and the General Manager of Fairchild's Integrated Circuit Division.
