RNC Names Ex Microsoft Exec as New Media Director

In an effort to "deliver on his commitment of reinvigorating the (US) Republican Party's use of technology", Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele announced the appointment of Todd Herman as the RNC's New Media Director. He will begin April 6th.

Herman was General Manager of Media Strategy at Microsoft until September, 2007. Before that he was Director of Advertising and Business Strategy for MSN Entertainment at MSN. Herman lives in the Seattle, Washington area.
